Finally, one year after the promotional tape released last year, the second Skinliv full-length arrives.
Quite different than the excellent "Uaar", the new full-length is not so bleak as its predecessor, but not by any means a record of light and solace.
"Ind I Skoven Til Evig Tid" is a tremendous and feral record of forest-worshipping, pagan Black Metal, done 100% in league with the 90's Scandinavian hordes like Kvist or Sorhin.
Gelid riffing rips through flesh and bone, aurally synchronized with the impetuous keyboards, not unlike early Emperor, Satyricon and other 90s tyrants, while the bulldozing and present bass, resembling Ildjarn's mixing style, convulses the dead in their grave.
An amazing record devoid of semblance of modernity.
