After the debut EP in 2020, ...As Shadows Fall over Zenitheaen, and the striking debut full-length, Rose Velvet Dynasty, Mournful Moon returns with the much-anticipated follow-up, Twilight, My Passion.
On this record, the trio comprised of Constantine (Arthuros), Thomas (Archaeos and Liturgy of Desecration), and Michael (Dirty Granny Tales), continue to explore the blend of Gothic and Symphonic elements with traditional Greek Black Metal sound.
The album combines galloping, epic old-school riffage with grand, theatrical symphonic layers, alongside faster, romantic melodicism and whimsical Gothic-leaning synths.
Twilight, My Passion is a full-length brimming with nostalgia, tragedy, and sorrowful romanticism, while firmly rooted within the Mediterranean soundscape.
