Debut album from the most recent addition to the remarkable Black Plague Circle covenant.
Suša is A.'s first solo project. A. was already notorious as being the bass player for Niteris and Void Prayer, and playing both bass and guitar on Vrač, where he has perfected his virtuous style of pulsating bass frequencies and entrancing cascading basslines, but in Suša is where his mastery and songwriting vision really and uncompromisingly come to fruition in full force.
Suša is an absolutely remarkable Black Metal album, unlike any other that has been produced in the BPC.
Truly varied in composition, the album is composed by only four tracks, where the monstruous "Velike zvijeri čiji časovi će doći" occupies solely the Side B of the record.
A nightmarish journey, featuring a very dynamic and modern riffing style, often reminiscing of Funereal Presence but also of acts such as Albionic Hermeticism.
Often incorporating elements of Death and Doom Metal into his style as well, as well as various melodies that seem subliminally influenced by oriental and Balkan Folk music.
Some moments of more orthodoxy also surface but Suša always keeps you busy with fast song architecture and dynamic writing, not to speak the fantastic interludes of the last two tracks.
