Now its foetal form writhes and shines through mosaic – a reflection glittering with everything that has come before but renewed and exorcised here in maturity.
‘A Foetal Wolf In Stained Glass’ is the third Kommodus full-length album. A lengthy album mirroring in many ways the self-titled debut, but if that was the project at its most feral and eclectic then this album reflects an ultimate refinement of that unique style. Each track here its own foetal extension of the greater beast, only interested in its own fantasy, mythos, and insularity – with continued complete disregard and disinterest toward any philosophy, politic, past, present, future, or world, other than that imagined in this art form. Foetal wolves growing for themselves, by themselves, immortalised in stained glass.
Conceptually, the record concerns itself with fantasy, folklore, horror, apocalypse, and (is often the case) igniting the aspirational flame of inner strength to overcome obstacles both interior and exterior.
